Job Description

This is a key, new role within the company, focusing on the development to market of a series of new products, using the current large quantity intake of gypsum plasterboard, timber, and aggregates. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the design, development, testing, certification and ultimate release to market, of a new portfolio of products to both existing and new clients. A primary focus of this role will be the identification of suitable combinations of materials, subsequent successful testing and certification, and increasing value for our clients and their customers.

The successful graduate will lead this project, in a supportive partnership with University of Limerick (UL) as part of the InterTradeIreland Innovation Boost Programme and will also have the opportunity to avail of a Post Graduate Diploma with Queen’s University Belfast as part of the employment offering.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 2:2 Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental management or related to the Built Environment.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Northern Ireland and travel throughout Ireland; if you do require a visa/work permit allowing you to work in Northern Ireland you must upload a copy of it with your application.

Desirable Criteria

  • Knowledge of waste and materials management in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of environmental services.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
