This position is with SFXRay Ltd. The role forms part of an Innovation Boost project supported by InterTradeIreland. Salary support under the programme is provided for 18 months; however, the employment contract is with SFXRay and is not limited to the funding period.

Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of a new national-level service offering that will expand the company’s impact across the protective garment and healthcare sectors. At the heart of this role is the creation of an innovative electronic product traceability system, designed for seamless use by manufacturers and easily accessible to healthcare customers.
As Operations Project Lead, you will drive this flagship service initiative while overseeing the digital transformation of supporting internal workflows and processes. Your leadership will ensure that the systems, data practices, and operational structures behind the service are modern, efficient, and built for scale.
Working collaboratively across teams, you will help redesign how information flows through the business, streamline document and data management, and embed best‑practice processes that support a more agile and responsive organisation. These improvements will underpin the successful rollout and long-term sustainability of the new service, while strengthening operational excellence across the company.
Key Responsibilities
New Service & Process Development
Lead the design, development, and rollout of a new asset management service, ensuring alignment with operational needs, system capabilities and long-term scalability. Collaborate across teams to build future-ready processes that support innovation, compliance, and customer value.
Project Leadership
Manage the implementation of enhanced systems for data management, change control and operational optimisation. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and with measurable impact.
Digital Enablement
Champion the adoption of digital tools and technologies that streamline workflows, improve traceability and support smarter decision-making across operations.
Process Benchmarking & Engagement
Work closely with operational teams to assess current practices, identify performance gaps, and co-create solutions that drive measurable improvements.
Continuous Improvement
Develop and execute strategies to reduce inefficiencies, eliminate waste, and enhance overall business performance through Lean methodologies and hands-on problem solving.
The successful graduate will lead
this project, in a supportive partnership with ATU Sligo as part of the InterTradeIreland Innovation Boost Programme.
There is potential for this role to become permanent following successful project delivery.
