They have a modern workshop where they manufacture standard and bespoke mobile welfare units that comprise of canteens, toilets, meeting rooms, dry rooms etc for work crews mainly for the construction industry across the UK & Ireland.
Job Description
This is an important role involving the introduction of professional design skills to the business. The successful candidate will lead the development of a design centre for the design and manufacture of a novel new product.
The role will include:
- Bringing a professional approach to design
- Setup and assist with the introduction of a 3D digital system (CAD/CAM)
- Carry out Design for Manufacture & Assembly for a novel new product.
- Transformation of the business through the implementation of best practice and digital design
- 3D CAD product design & prototyping
- BOM’s
- Handover documentation
- CNC Files
- SOP’s
The successful graduate will lead
this project, in a supportive partnership with Southern Regional College and will also have the opportunity to avail of a Post Graduate Diploma with Queen’s University Belfast as part of the employment offering.
