Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the digital transformation of RPM Power’s inventory-related processes. They will be a key member of the Team, assisting us with developing new processes, overhauling the manual inventory process and implementing new software and toolsets to automate this. Responsibilities will include:

  • Investigating and mapping our Business Process Flow to allow improvements throughout the business.
  • Lead and develop the new project to deliver a series of new digitised inventory processes for our business.
  • Researching and implementing the most suitable software solutions.
  • Implementing an Inventory Management System across all departments within the business.
  • Implementing data collection, reporting and forecasting features.
  • Be responsible for customising these systems utilising software tools available and customising to the company's needs, as well as integrating new software when needed.
  • Coordinate the rollout of the new processes and system in various departments within the business.
  • Liaise with internal Teams to ensure everyone is maximising the benefits of the system and reporting from the system meets the business needs.

The successful graduate will lead this project, in a supportive partnership with North West Regional College and will also have the opportunity to avail of supported training opportunities as part of the employment offering.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 2:2 Degree in IT/Computing or a Degree in another field with significant experience working in an IT environment.
  • 2+ years’ experience with inventory management systems
  • 2+ years’ experience using the Microsoft suite for data management
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Ireland/EU and travel through the island of Ireland if required; if you do require a visa/work permit allowing you to work in Ireland/EU you must upload a copy of it with your application. Failure to provide a relevant Visa/Work permit may result in your application not being considered.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in inventory control, e-commerce operations, or warehouse administration programmes
  • Knowledge of supply chain and logistics
  • Familiarity with demand forecasting and sales data analysis
  • Ability to create simple reports or dashboards using data management and reporting tools
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments
