Job Summary
This position is with Rosie and Jim. The role forms part of an Innovation Boost project supported by InterTradeIreland. Salary support under the programme is provided for 18 months; however, the employment contract is with Rosie and Jim and is not limited to the funding period.

Job Description
This is a hands-on role, with a significant on–site factory element. The primary focus is on New Product Development (NPD), giving you the opportunity to build a strong skill set by managing end-to-end projects from initial concept through to customer listings of packaged finished products.
This is an exciting opportunity for a food technologist with a passion for packaging technology to play a pivotal role within a progressive company.
- Leading the development of formal NPD processes and procedures within the company,
- Working closely with a wider team in researching, developing and launching new poultry products,
- Liaising closely with key customers, current and potential, to ensure their needs are met and commercial opportunities are grasped,
- Continually reviewing the company’s progress in the area of NPD to ensure continued impact on revenue growth.
- Being a key driver in transitioning to sustainable packaging.
This role offers the chance to play a central part in shaping Rosie & Jim’s future product range while developing your technical and commercial NPD expertise.
The successful graduate will lead this project, in a supportive partnership with Southern Regional College (SRC) as part of the InterTradeIreland’s Innovation Boost Programme.
