Job Description
The candidate will take the project lead on developing composites based in natural stones and thermoset polymers. The project execution will demand research of technologies, development of material processing methods, design of products and tools.
The project has a mixed nature, varying from a computer-based design and design for manufacture into a workshop hand-work environment.
The candidate must be prompt to adapt to new tasks, have the curiosity to solve problems, and the organization skills to keep the project momentum.
The project will be executed in the company grounds, under the orientation from academics. Following instructions, developing protocol, and confidently exposing critical thinking are necessary traits of this position holder.
Candidates with background in materials science, product engineering, manufacturing engineering, or similar are encouraged to apply.
The successful graduate will lead
this project, in a supportive partnership with Atlantic Technological University (ATU) as part of the InterTradeIreland Innovation Boost Programme and will also have the opportunity to avail of a Post Graduate Diploma with Queen’s University Belfast as part of the employment offering.
