Job Summary

This position is with Originate Marketing Consultants Ltd. The role forms part of an Innovation Boost project supported by InterTradeIreland. Salary support under the programme is provided for 18 months; however, the employment contract is with Originate Marketing Consultants and is not limited to the funding period.

Originate Marketing Consultants Ltd are a strategic creative agency specialising in branding, placemaking, web and digital. We offer end-to-end solutions for businesses looking to build, launch, or grow their brand presence both online and offline. From insight and planning to creative ideas and digital experiences, we craft stories that are compelling and human and always designed with commercial objectives in mind.

We work with clients including AIB, TC Matthews, and Kennedy Wilson Residential. As we expand into product development, we are now growing our team and increasing our development resources.

Job Description

At Originate we are developing an AI powered intelligent automation platform to deliver significant efficiency for the private rental market. This new platform will significantly reduce administrative costs for businesses and considerably improve customer experiences. We require a software developer to join our dynamic team onsite in Dublin and help develop this new product. Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing functional and technical specifications based on client and user consultation;
  • Evaluating and implementing AI technologies suited to the automation of business processes;
  • Developing software and integrating systems/technologies;
  • Collaborating with the company’s UI/UX design teams.
  • Leading functional and user testing processes.

The successful graduate will lead this project, in a supportive partnership with North West Regional College as part of the InterTradeIreland Innovation Boost Programme.

Interviews will be held approximately week commencing: 15/06/2026

Essential Criteria

  • Degree in IT/Computing or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in software development roles;
  • At least one year of experience developing or implementing AI tools;
  • Data Analytics experience;
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Ireland/EU and travel throughout the island of Ireland if required; if you do require a visa/work permit allowing you to work in Ireland/EU you must upload a copy of it with your application. Failure to provide a relevant Visa/Work permit may result in your application not being considered.

Desirable Criteria

  • 5+ years’ experience in the IT industry;
  • Previous experience in business process automation;
  • Previous experience in project management;
  • Ability to work independently and assume ownership of a new product development process;
  • Previous experience of working in multidisciplinary teams spanning design, business process analysis and technology implementation.
