Mamo Building Services Ltd is a progressive construction and civil engineering company, that provides construction, building maintenance and civil engineering services to both public and private sectors.

We have an ever-expanding portfolio of projects, resulting in increased expansion, which has resulted in us developing our digital offerings. We therefore are now looking to push boundaries in the AEC/Built Environment, by becoming a leading contractor in Ireland and beyond.

Job Description

The Tendering & digital design manager will lead the development of a new design and tendering capability at Mamo Building Services Ltd, based on digital competencies and communication, utilising estimating software and 3D modelling. This role includes implementing 3D modelling software alongside digital pricing tools, all founded on a common data environment. Following this, the candidate will develop in-house expertise and oversee the broader rollout of the tendering and digital design capability within the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement digital tools and technologies
  • Establish a common data environment to support the new tendering and digital department
  • Develop and refine processes for digital design and tendering
  • Enhance the company’s approach to design, pricing, and tendering


Requirements:

  • Proficiency with digital design tools (3D modelling software) and an understanding of tendering and design processes especially for small fast track maintenance operations.
  • Experience in identifying and introducing a common data environment
  • Knowledge of construction techniques including pricing, design, and tendering for the Northern Ireland market and specific client specifications.

Essential Criteria

  • Degree in a construction/manufacturing/design or computer/software-related subject.
  • Experience working within the construction/manufacturing/design sector; working knowledge of small build and maintenance projects with an extremely fast turnaround.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Northern Ireland; if you do require a visa/work permit allowing you to work in Northern Ireland you must upload a copy of it with your application.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience of working with Revit and/or other similar modelling software.
  • Proficient in the use of design software and Knowledge of 3D modelling/design software used in construction/manufacturing/design sectors.
  • Excellent process design capabilities (knowledge and experience).
  • A detailed knowledge of process development and implementation.
  • Detailed knowledge of pricing and tendering
