Job Description
To lead the digital transformation of systems and processes throughout the B2B and B2C business elements. A key aspect will be to review the end to end current processes and systems across each business function and develop and implement a digital transformation strategy that integrates and automates all current data, systems and processes into one single source of truth to support effective strategic decision making for future growth.
The selection, design and implementation of a new centralised management information system that replaces/integrates current legacy bespoke siloed systems and manual processes, while respecting the realities of wool weaving, manufacturing operations and the four business avenues is the central objective of this project.
The role ensures that systems, processes, and people work together to improve visibility, efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making across each aspect of the relevant business units.
This role is central to the company’s growth strategy for the next 5 years and will focus on ensuring that we have the right digital transformation information systems in place to support our planned expansion.
Project Manager responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a digital transformation strategy for Foxford.
- Lead end-to-end systems and process analysis from requirements gathering to design and implementation of an integrated and automated centralised management information system. This will include:
- Mapping and documenting current (“as-is”) processes across the four business areas (Physical retail, online retail, manufacturing and café) and relevant functions such as order management, order fulfilment, order delivery, and finance.
- Design and agree improved (“to-be”) processes and systems
- Act as the main liaison between the business, systems vendor(s), and external stakeholders as required
- Manage project scope, budget, timelines, and risks
- Oversee data preparation, cleansing, and migration from legacy systems and spreadsheets
- Support change management, including staff engagement, training coordination, and user adoption
- Ensure minimal disruption to production and customer delivery during implementation
- Establish reporting and KPIs to support operational and commercial decision-making
- Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement roadmap
- Working closely with the academic partner and will travel to the academic institute as required.

The successful graduate will lead
this project, in a supportive partnership with Ulster University as part of the InterTradeIreland Innovation Boost Programme.
There is potential for the role to become permanent following successful project delivery.
