Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team to lead the development of a new range of surgical training models. This role involves overseeing the design, development, and implementation of 3D printed models embedded with sensors to enhance vascular surgeons’ training.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of 3D printed surgical training models.
- Integrate sensors into models to provide real-time feedback for vascular surgeons.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and clinical experts.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct testing and validation of models to meet quality and performance standards.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in 3D printing and medical technology.
- Interact with surgeons and medical device engineers to gather requirements and feedback.
- Travel Commitments: Regular travel to Northern Ireland and the UK.

this project, in a supportive partnership with Ulster University as part of the InterTradeIreland Innovation Boost Programme and will also have the opportunity to avail of a Post Graduate Diploma with Queen’s University Belfast as part of the employment offering.
