Job Description
Swappsi is looking for a sharp, ambitious person to join its product and engineering team as an AI Engineer. This role is part of an Innovation Boost R&D project in partnership with Ulster University, focused on building the next generation of AI-driven customer service agents and an AI agent orchestration service designed for scalability, adaptability, and real-world impact. As an AI Engineer, you’ll play a central role in turning advanced AI research into production-grade products that deliver measurable value to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimise AI-driven customer service agents, ensuring responsiveness, reliability, and scalability.
- Contribute to the development of an AI agent orchestration framework, enabling seamless coordination and integration of multiple intelligent agents.
- Translate research outputs and experimental prototypes into production-ready systems that can operate in real-world environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are ethical, explainable, and future-proofed.
- Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and best practices to continuously improve system performance and scalability.
This position is fully remote within Ireland.
The successful graduate will lead
this project, in a supportive partnership with Ulster University as part of the InterTradeIreland Innovation Boost Programme.
