Job Description
Shellfish Ireland is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Product Development Technologist with a genuine passion for seafood to join our innovative team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing and launching the company’s next generation of value-added seafood products within a growing and forward-thinking organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of a new range of value-added seafood products, from concept through to launch.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (production, quality, and sales) and external partners to research, develop, and commercialise new product lines.
- Engage with key customers, both existing and potential, to ensure products meet market needs and deliver strong commercial results.
- Support the scale-up of production in-house, ensuring smooth transition from kitchen development to full-scale manufacturing.
- Continuously evaluate and refine the NPD process, driving innovation and contributing to sustained revenue growth.
