Job Description

We are seeking an experienced project manager to spearhead operational transformation at our growing food manufacturing company. This role combines strategic process improvement with hands-on implementation to elevate our production capabilities and meet expanding retail demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Map and analyse current manufacturing workflows to identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Develop and implement standardised processes and quality control systems.
  • Lead installation and optimisation of new food safety equipment.
  • Create comprehensive SOPs and technical documentation for retailer compliance.
  • Train and mentor production staff on new processes and equipment.
  • Deliver performance analytics and reporting to internal stakeholders and retail partners.
  • Ensure consistent product quality and compliance with food safety standards.
  • Drive operational excellence to support our expansion into new markets.


The successful graduate will lead this project, in a supportive partnership with Southern Regional College as part of the InterTradeIreland Innovation Boost Programme.

Interviews will be held approximately week commencing: 04/08/2025

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 2:2 Food related degree.
  • 1-2 years food manufacturing experience.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Ireland/EU and travel thorough the island of Ireland if required; if you do require a visa/work permit allowing you to work in Ireland/EU you must upload a copy of it with your application.

Desirable Criteria

  • Practical experience of working in QC/Technical dept in Food Industry.
  • Previous experience in working with retailer technical systems.
  • A keen interest in process development in Food Manufacturing.
