Job Summary

Jetwash Intl Ltd are recognised as a leading engineering company within a number of specialised industries. Turnkey project design and build, metalwork fabrication, structural and component assembly, manufacturer and supplier of high-pressure cleaning equipment and water pumping systems. Industry involvement- Manufacturing, Construction and Quarry, Agricultural and Industrial.

Jetwash is also at the forefront of the design, manufacture and installation of all types and stages of livestock husbandry equipment, i.e. housing, penning, feeding systems and production equipment for both the new building project and the refurbishment project.

Job Description

The successful candidate will lead the development of a new product for the company. You will manage the implementation of modern and best-in-class design systems and processes to deliver a new modular welfare system.

The successful candidate will:

  • Manage the development of a newly created design & R&D department and manage the development of our new range of welfare systems.
  • Research suitable testing using software to design ventilation systems for the company’s new systems.
  • Have oversight of all new product development in partnership with the management team.
  • Creating drawings of building plans and structures using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Reviewing blueprints and drawings to ensure they are accurate and complete
  • Performing material calculations.
  • Ensuring that all safety procedures are followed during construction
  • Coordinating with other team members to schedule deliveries of materials and coordinate construction activities.
  • Aid the improvement of existing products or processes to increase efficiency and improve performance.

The successful graduate will lead this project, in a supportive partnership with North West Regional College (NWRC) and will also have the opportunity to avail of a Post Graduate Diploma with Queen’s University Belfast as part of the employment offering.

Essential Criteria

  • Min 2.2 degree (BEng) in, Civil/Construction Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or STEM related discipline.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in the Republic of Ireland at time of application; if you do require a visa/work permit allowing you to work in Republic of Ireland you must upload a copy of it with your application.

Desirable Criteria

  • Min 1 year experience of CAD design software
  • Knowledge of FEA
  • Experience of Revit etc
  • Experience in CFD and heat transfer
  • Involvement in NPD
