Job Description

You will take on the lead role in developing and implementing best practice processes in the warehouse following the investment in technology to date (& ongoing) to improve on and give a seamless customer experience. Role & responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with both the warehouse and wider cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and optimise operations.
  • Leading change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and processes.
  • Analysing data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Training and mentoring team members on new processes and technology use.
  • Continuously monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of implemented changes and adjusting as needed.
  • Communicating progress and results to all stakeholders and making recommendations for further improvements.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure that newly defined supply chain rules are adhered to.
  • Input into optimising stock management and forecasting data to improve key metrics.
  • Warehouse I.T liaison with business system partners

The successful graduate will lead this project, in a supportive partnership with Southern Regional College (SRC) and will also have the opportunity to avail of a Post Graduate Diploma with Queen’s University Belfast as part of the employment offering.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of 2:2; degree in engineering, business or IT.
  • 2 years relevant experience in industry.
  • Have led a software implementation project.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in the Republic of Ireland; if you do require a visa/work permit allowing you to work in Republic of Ireland you must upload a copy of it with your application.

Desirable Criteria

  • Pharma sector experience.
  • Warehouse operations experience.
  • Veterinary practice experience.
  • Practical experience of Exchequer software.
